Life has never been quite the same since.

He started his title run in 2011 after winning the inaugural Mr. Liberty Leather contest in Pontiac, MI. He then followed by becoming the 16th Mr. Michigan Leather in 2012 and then in May 2012, became the first Michigan representative ever to win International Mr. Leather. He is also a proud member of Mama's Family, Mama's Singin' LilCub and a member of BLUF 163.

Woody is an accomplished vocalist and has used his talents to benefit the community by organizing and performing charity cabaret events at venues around the state and country. Proceeds from his efforts have benefitted the Mr. Friendly Campaign, AmFar, Ruth Ellis, HRC and many other local and national organizations. He is very active in his local community through Beautiful, an organization encouraging individuals to simply be themselves and to be accepting, and is a founding member of the Michigan Band of Brothers. Whereas he personally chooses these organizations as his benefactors, his main focus is to simply encourage people to find their own passion or "sound," as he calls it, and then to do something about it.

Murray Lavigne

Ottawa, Ontario

At age 21, Murray moved to Ottawa from his hometown of Pembroke in 1977. This began his journey into leather and kink. As a passionate community-minded leader, Murray delved into the leather lifestyle before joining the Ottawa Knights in 1990. Since then Murray has been on their executive board, 11 out of 22 years as the president. In 1992, the club brought Mr. Leather Ottawa (MLO) to the nation's capital. It is now the club's largest annual charity fundraiser and has just celebrated its 20th anniversary. True to form, he has been involved in MLO and has taken on sponsorship, vendors and prizes, venues, meals, accommodations, as well as many years as the executive and production producer. Murray was the string that organized Ottawa's first Bootblack contest and ensured that the steps taken in its production shone through. He currently sits on the MLO Executive Board.

His judging experience includes Eastern Canada Leather Sir/boy, Mr. Leatherman Toronto and in the last two years, the National Capital Leather Pride titles of Miss and Mr. Leather Pride. 2013 marked the first year for Mr. Rubber Ottawa and the Ottawa pup competition. The Australian Club Run, London (UK) Leather Weekend, Round-up, MLT & Toronto Bound, MCM, ABW, MAL, Mr. Upstate New York, IML and CLAW are a few of the events he has been involved with. He has attended Prides across the globe and has held the titles of Mr. Round-up 1994 and Mr. North Forty 2004.

Sticking to his "old guard" mentality, Murray has mastered the art of erotic flogging, caning and cropping. Murray also loves wax, water and CBT play. He wants to perfect his skills with single-tail whips. Currently, Murray would like to add a few boys to his Family at home, now that he has more time having retired from the federal transport minister's office in 2010.

His favorite saying: "So many acronyms, so little time!"
