The newly expanded 15,000-square-foot facility includes 12 exam rooms, counseling rooms and space for other services. At Howard Brown Health Clark, patients may access primary medical care, a sliding scale of charges based on income, STI/HIV screening and treatment, behavioral health counseling services, insurance navigation, educational opportunities, and a meeting/event space. Howard Brown expects to provide 12,000 medical visits to an estimated 8,000 patients at the location annually.
Howard Brown Health exists to eliminate the disparities in health care experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people through research, education and the provision of services that promote health and wellness.
