Highwood Pride Fest taking place June 4

The North Shore suburb of Highwood will hold its Pride Fest on Saturday, June 4.
The full day of activities starts with a "Pride Rocks" family picnic at Everts Park at noon-3 p.m., followed by the (21+ only) "Queertopia; Just Say Gay Drag Show" at 6-7:30 p.m.; the "Taste the Rainbow" Pub Crawl at 7:30-10:30 p.m.; and the "End of the Rainbow" DJ Dance Party, with DJ Versage, at 10:30-midnight.
A portion of proceeds will benefit pro-LGBTQ+ organizations Haven Youth & Family Services and the Highland Park High School Spectrum Club.
