HHS releases report on LGBT issues

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has released the 2012 report of the HHS LGBT Issues Coordinating Committee, according to a press release.
The report outlines many accomplishments from this past year and sets new goals for the coming year with respect to the health and well-being of the LGBT community.
Key accomplishments from the past year include:
Continued implementation of the Affordable Care Act has given U.S. residents, including LGBT individuals, improved access to health coverage;
Re-launching the website www.StopBullying.gov, which contains specific information for LGBT youth to deal with bullies; and
Creation of an LGBT youth suicide task force as well as funding to state and tribal suicide prevention programs.
