The Golden Gays of NYC and London's DJ Paul Joseph will be part of the first-ever "Golden-Con's Mother of a Solid Gold Dancer Disco" at Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk, 301 E. North Water St., the official hotel sponsor of "Golden-Con: Thank You For Being a Fan."

The event will take place Saturday, April 23, 9 p.m.-1 a.m.

On April 22-24, Chicago will be the first city in the nation to host "Golden-Con: Thank You For Being a Fan," a television comedy fan convention presented by Golden Fandom, LLC at Navy Pier. Open to the public and Golden-Con attendees, the official after-party will feature games and a special costume contest; categories will include the best Blanche, Dorothy, Rose and Sophia.

In addition to the festivities, CHI Bar, inside the Sheraton, will serve themed cocktails; a percentage of the proceeds will go to The Center on Halsted.
