Girl Scouts of greater Chicago and northwest Indiana will host a fun-filled night of games and activities on Tuesday, May 16 at Center on Halsted, located at 3656 N. Halsted St., Chicago, Ill. Guests may stop by to learn more about the Girl Scouts and what scouting has to offer. The event is free. A parent or guardian must attend and remain present with their children.
Girl Scouts' "Camp In" series creates a space at Center on Halsted that is like a real camping experience. This is open for currently registered Girl Scouts and for girls interested in joining. The series will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays, May 30, June 13, June 27 and July 11.
A $12 registration fee is required for each Girl Scout. Financial assistance is available. Girls of all ages from kindergarten to 12th-grade are welcome to attend.
