Superstar singer George Michael was arrested Sept. 19 for drug possession in a British bathroom, according to Telegraph.co.uk.

The arrest occurred approximately a mile from Michael’s home in North London. Michael, 45, was arrested after a bathroom assistant tipped off authorities.

However, he was only given a warning after he took full responsibility for possessing cocaine and cannabis. A Scotland Yard spokesman said, ‘He was taken to a North London police station where he received a caution and was released with no further action. The caution was for the possession of Class A and Class C drugs, cocaine and cannabis.’

Michael was the subject of drug-related arrests in 2006 and 2007. He recently concluded a global tour celebrating 25 years in the music business.
