The nomination deadline for the 2003 Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame induction ceremony has been extended to July 31.
This extension is to assure a more diverse pool of candidates. Nomination forms are available from Bill Greaves at (312) 744-7911 or

Chicago is the only known municipality that honors its gay and lesbian communities through a Hall of Fame. The Chicago Gay
and Lesbian Hall of Fame not only pays tribute to individuals and organizations but also documents the communities' heritage and
diversity through its annual publication and its Web site (www.GLHallofFame.org).
The Hall of Fame is privately funded through donations from individuals, businesses, organizations, and fundraisers. Staff support
is provided by the Chicago Commission on Human Relations, members of the Advisory Council on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and
Transgender Issues, and volunteers.
