BRAVO'S NEXT: THE QUEER EYE FOR THE STRAIGHT GUY
Bravo, the cable channel that brought you Gay weddings and Fire Island, has now ordered 12 episodes of The Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, an unscripted makeover series scheduled to debut in July 2003. It is being billed as a one-hour guide to 'building a better straight man.' Five gay consultants will bring their savoir faire to the cultivation of one subject each episode. 'At its core, it's not about gay or straight. It's about guys helping guys,' said David Collins, the gay creator and executive producer of the series. 'Gay or straight we all want to look good, feel good and have great shoes of course.'
