Gay Games VII will benefit from sales of 50 rooftop skybox tickets to the sold-out Cubs game vs. the World Champion Boston Red Sox Sunday, June 12, 7:05 start time.
The rooftop box is at 3637 N. Sheffield Ave. ( see www.Ivyleaguebaseballclub.com ) . The box is owned by Tom Gramatis and he is donating 100% to Gay Games VII as a charitable contribution. Ald. Tom Tunney helped coordinate the donation.
The tickets are $200 each and include food and beverages. Call ( 773 ) 907-2006 to order tickets by phone by June 10 at noon.
The Ivy League Baseball Club is located at the center of right field, 478 feet from home plate, closer to the action than many of the seats located inside Wrigley Field. This location gives it the best view of any of the rooftops at Wrigley Field.
This week, the Bo Sox were featured on Bravo's Queer Eye for the Straight Guy ( now titled Queer Eye ) . The Fab 5 ( Carson Kressley, Jai Rodriguez, Kyan Douglas, Thom Filicia and Ted Allen ) took on five of the world-famous Red Sox ( Kevin Millar, Johnny Damon, Jason Varitek, Tim Wakefield and Doug Mirabelli ) and tried to reverse their curse of bad style.
