Free Legal Seminars to be Held at Howard Brown

A series of free legal seminars—co-sponsored by Howard Brown Health Center; The Lesbian and Gay Bar Association of Chicago; The Chicago Public Library; and The Chicago Bar Association Committee on Legal Rights of Lesbians and Gay Men—will be held at Howard Brown, 4025 N. Sheridan.

All sessions begin at 6:30 p.m. The dates, themes and speakers will be as follows:

—Dec. 16: Securing LGBT Relationships and Joint Ownership Issues; Richard Wilson, Esq., presenter

—Jan. 17: Employment Discrimination; Tanya Jachimiak, Esq. and Betty Tsamis, Esq., presenters

—Feb. 7: Immigration; Michael Jarecki, Esq., presenters

—Feb. 28: Buying Your First Home & the Real Estate Process; Irene Reed, Esq., presenter

—March 21: Understanding Landlord/Tenant Issues in Chicago; Mario Sullivan, Esq., presenter

—April 11: HIV/AIDS/LGBT Legal Resources; Community Organizations
