Forcing the Spring: Inside the Fight for Marriage Equality: In this compelling book, New York Times ( and Pulitzer Prize-winning ) investigative reporter Jo Becker takes a look at the recent pivotal years regarding the battle for same-sex marriage to be legalized in the United States. She was granted access to rooms where strategies were plotted, from the initial efforts to stop California's Proposition 8 to the campaign to overturn the Defense of Marriage Act to the goings-on with the U.S. Supreme Court.
Magisso sake set: I love items that are functional and stylish. The set is literally coolyou just soak for a minute under water or a running tap for the chilling effect to start. Moreover, each ceramic ( and dishwasher-safe ) set from the Finnish brand comes with chalk so you can get creative with the carafe or cups.
Ultimate Star Wars: You might know who Han Solo or even Padme Amidala is, but do you know about Yarael Poof or a rancoror what a Zygerrian electro-whip looks like? This book is a ( beyond ) comprehensive encyclopedia of the entire Star Wars galaxy that details characters, technology, creatures and more. Any Star Wars fan would love this.
Penny Dreadful: The creepy-good thriller series is back on Showtime with all of the cast intact ( for now ) and a whole host of creatures, including werewolves, demon-worshipping witches and even scary dolls. There's no word yet if there'll be another love scene with Reeve Carney and Josh Hartnett, though.
Mark Hill hair products: Hill, a professional celebrity hairstylist, charges almost $2,000 to personally cut/style hair ( and he's worked on celebrities such as AnnaSophia Robb, Lake Bell and Molly Sims ). However, his productsnow in stores such as Ulta and Walgreensdon't surpass $12. Moreover, they smell great ( as they contain ingredients such as argan oil and ylang-ylang ) and are light on hair.
