Ashland Ave., not only has CDs and vinyl records ( which are making a huge comeback )but it has very rare editions of those items in a staggering variety of musical genres ( ranging from classical to folk/country to deep funk ). Gift certificates are available.
Steampunk Lego ( $29.95; No Starch Press ): People who are into sci-fi and steampunk ( a genre that deals with steam-powered machinery instead of advanced technology ) will adore this compelling book. Special-effects professional Guy Himber creates an intriguing steampunk world, filled with photos of Victorian-era sci-fi treasures built solely from LEGO.
Lather ( www.lather.com ): I first discovered these amazing skin products at a hotel, and couldn't get them out of my mind. And I'm not the only one who likes themLather's Bamboo Lemongrass Body Crème has been named one of "Oprah's Favorite Things," in the December issue of O, The Oprah Magazine.
HUB IT ( $79.99; Amazon.com and Eggtronic.com ): Eggtronic has launched this device, which has been described as "the world's fastest and first ever customizable sync and charge docking station." While I don't know if it's the world's fastest, it's pretty impressive and compatible.
Warwick Rowers 2015 Calendar ( www.warwickrowers.org/shop ): The rowerswhose calendar has been featured on Good Morning America and E! Newscame together to raise awareness for the fight against bullying and homophobia in school and sports. And these guys certainly are easy on the eyes
