Love and Other Drugs ( on DVD ) : Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway show PLENTY of skin in this romantic drama now out on DVD. Gyllenhaal plays Jamie, a smooth-talking playboy who sells Viagra, while Hathaway is Maggie, a sexy free spirit who's hiding a secret. Extras include deleted scenes; a talk with Gyllenhaal and Hathaway; "Selling Love & Other Drugs;" and separate pieces on the lead actor's characters.
The Confection Connection Too!: The sweets shop, at 316 S. Dearborn ( 312-662-1400 ) , features all sorts of goodies, including truffles, toffee, pretzel clusters and candiesbut one of the sure-fire draws has to be the chocolate-covered potato chips. They'll keep you coming back.
Scream 4: Most movie series hit the proverbial wall by the time the second film is released. However, the fourth entry in the horror-film series is tight ( even at almost two hours ) , with plenty of "in" jokes. Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox and David Arquette all return for the current theatrical release that even made this horror-movie vet jump a few times.
Britney Spears' Femme Fatale CD: I'm not recommending her live performances ( especially after seeing her somewhat lethargic Good Morning America performance ) , but there's no denying the CD itself. Longtime collaborator Max Martin and partner Dr. Luke create some of Spears' most danceable music since "Toxic" and "Slave 4 U," despite the singer's heavily processed voice.
The sliders at The Small Bar: The Lincoln Park establishment, at 1415 W. Fullerton, has many succulent items to choose from, including Leo's veggie chili, pizzas and a sandwich called "Hellfire." However, the certified Angus beef sliders with American cheese ( three for $6 or six for $11 ) are, um, prime. See www.thesmallbar.com/images/SmallBar_FUL_menu_09.pdf.
