Summer love is in the air. Everywhere you turn people are doing their thing. Getting to know one another's games ... . The games of who's really zooming who and why? Why do relationships have to be such a game? When I say game, I mean why are we so afraid to just be open, honest and lay it all out on the line, instead of trying to play trivial mind games to see where a person's head is. The key to a successful and thriving relationship is learning how to compromise, compare and deal with the situation that has been given to you. Many of you may say, 'What a crazy thought process,' but I truly beg to differ. I think we all come with our own complete bag of issues, drama, and situations that need to be dealt with. It's how open and honest you are to willingly accept change in your life that will make a difference in how you deal with your relationships. Now, if you are a person who has set extremely high standards, why do you continuously deal with people who are beneath you? Is it for sexual satisfaction, or to soothe the savage beast known as your ego? Relationships that are built on mental attraction last much longer than relationships built on sheer physical attraction.
The next time you meet someone with whom you are attracted, I ask that you dig deep into your soul and question whether or not you are more attracted to their mentality, or their physicality. Having said that, I encourage you to seek relationships that truly express the person you are. May your love generate heat that is hotter than July.

Dear Chat Daddy,
My lover and I have a really big issue. Whenever we make love he screams about how good our lovemaking is in full details. Don't get me wrong … it's a real turn-on, but I'm sure everyone in the building has heard how well we both perform in bed. The neighbors all look at us strangely when we leave our building. How do I tell my lover to quiet down without losing the fire we share?
— Fire and Desire
Dear Fire and Desire,
What are you complaining about? Consider yourself lucky to even have someone who enjoys what you're serving up! Consider it a compliment, and by all means keep doing what you do best, WHATEVER that is. On a serious tip, you may want to try different positions that tend to muffle out excessive noise. Try lovemaking talk or even promise your mate even better sex if they learn to quiet down. Now remember, you are not the only person who's listening to this. I wish you soundproof walls, and lots of sheets.

Dear Chat Daddy,
My girlfriend and I are looking for ways to add more pleasure to our relationship. A good friend suggested that I try taking a massage class. Do you think massage will unlock the secret treasure troves of my mate's heart?
— Fingers On My Back
Dear Fingers On My Back,
Massage is an extraordinary thing. It has many benefits that range from healing to being very sensuous. My recommendation is that you both take a massage class. That way, you can learn some serious techniques together. There are many forms of massage from Swedish, deep tissue, reiki and reflexology that offer tremendous benefits to the body. Do your research and find a massage school that will fit your price range. With a little patience and time you will be truly loving your lover the right way. Don't forget to add some nice-smelling essential oils.

Dear Chat Daddy,
I recently received a phone bill for $600. I also recently got into calling 900 numbers in my effort to meet somebody, not realizing that my conversations would add up to such a large bill. The sad part about is, I still haven't met anyone.
— Dejected and Disconnected
Dear Dejected and Disconnected,
Don't you realize that 900 numbers are just another phone scam and that you should avoid these types of numbers all together? Since you were looking for love from Mr. Telephone Man, who am I to tell you it was a waste of your time. On the other hand, it was a really crazy waste of your money. My advice to you, is to go out and physically meet someone who you think you might remotely like that has a cell phone with free nights and weekends, then .... Voila, honey!! There is your $600 discount right there. I wish you success in your endeavors, but most of all, I wish you uninterrupted service.
