Equality Illinois Political Action Committee has released its first round of endorsements in Illinois House and Senate races as well as Attorney General, Secretary of State, Comptroller and Treasurer. Endorsements for other Constitutional officers will be released shortly.
EQIL-PAC was founded in 1993 to support those legislators that voted for, cosponsored or indicated they would vote for LGBT civil rights legislation. The purpose of EQIL-PAC is not to elect openly LGBT people however supportive we are of that our purpose is simply to ensure that those incumbents who have voted with us or commit to vote with us get our support.
