The Equality Illinois PAC is hosting the "Red, Pink, and Blue" breakfast fundraiser at 7:30 a.m. on Wed., Sept. 7, at Ann Sather restaurant, 909 W. Belmont Ave.
The event will feature a panel discussion with Illinois trans officials and political leaders. Participants are slated to include former Metropolitan Water Reclamation District commissioner candidate Precious Brady-Davis, Decatur Public Schools board member Alana Banks and Avon Township Clerk Kristal Larson.
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot is the honorary chair of the event.
