Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie credits rapper Kanye West and her bandmates with making hip-hop more gay-friendly, according to MTV.com . Of her bandmates, she told the Advocate, "They're completely gay-friendly. Are you kidding me? Look at how they dress!" Fergie added, "Kanye West really did a great thing for hip-hop and made it very mixed and open." She added that, although she is married to actor Josh Duhamel, she has experimented with women in the past. However, she told the Sun, "I've had a lot of fun with women, and I'm not ashamed of it. The problem is that I also love a well-endowed man."

Before his American Music Awards performance, American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert has responded to OUT Magazine's comments about him via Twitter, according to Towleroad.com . OUT magazine editor Aaron Hicklin suggested in his editor's letter for the 'OUT 100' issue that Lambert and his handlers, 19 Entertainment, were wary of having Lambert be on the cover and asked the publication not to ask certain questions that would make the singer appear "too gay." Lambert tweeted, "Dear Aaron, it's def not that deep. Chill! Guess ya gotta get attention for the magazine. ... Until we have a meaningful conversation, perhaps you should refrain from projecting your publications' agenda onto my career."

The Wendy Williams Show has been renewed on the Fox Television Stations through the 2011-12 season, according to a press release. The show launched nationally on the Fox-owned stations and other major groups in July 2009 for the current season, following a successful six-week, four-market preview on Fox stations the previous summer. Taped live in New York, The Wendy Williams Show combines the latest buzz and hot topics with a diverse mix of celebrities from film, music, sports and television in a no-holds-barred ( and very LGBT-friendly ) format.

Food Network chef Paula Deen is known for being a ham, but she was actually hit in the face with one in Atlanta, Ga., when helping out at a charity event, according to E! Online. Deen, 62, told TV station WXIA that " [ the ham ] hit me full long in the face and 'bout knocked me cuckoo, but I'm fine." A rep added that Deen was "OK now and [ was ] icing her face."

Britney Spears is involved in another controversy, and it's connected to her singing ( or the lack of it ) . According to OK! Magazine, Australians were not happy to find out that Spears lip-synchs at least some of the songs on her Circus tour. Victorian Minister for Consumer Affairs Tony Robinson said, "Make it clear to consumers before they buy tickets whether the performer will be miming." However, singer John Mayer recented Tweeted, "If you're shocked that Britney was lip-syncing at her concert and want your money back, life may continue to be hard for you."

CNN anchor Anderson Cooper is reportedly in love with bar owner Ben Maisani—and they have supposedly been house-hunting in New York, according to PerezHilton.com . Kellan Lutz and Peter Facinelli, who star in the Twilight sequel New Moon, have denied rumors they are a couple, according to a Hollywood.com item. Lutz joked to Eonline.com, "It's the naked one [ photo ] of us in the bubble bath that would really get us into trouble!" Facinelli, who is married to 90210 actress Jennie Garth, joked, "We're just friends. It's weird how rumours get started. You're holding hands with a friend and then the rumours begin.

In another New Moon twist, hunky star Taylor Lautner did not directly answer a gay-related question from Rolling Stone, according to TheHotHits.com . When the magazine's interviewer asked him if he prefers men or women, Lautner responded, "OK, I see where you're going. Interesting choice. There's a lot of rumours out there." CBS is defending its decision to blur the image of singer Adam Lambert kissing his male keyboard player during an American Music Awards performance, according to TVGuide.com . GLAAD President Jarrett Barrios said that "The Early Show's decision this morning to blur Adam Lambert's kiss from the American Music Awards reinforces an unfortunate double standard that is applied to openly gay performers." However, CBS replied, "We gave this some real thought. The Madonna image [ with Madonna, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera ] is very familiar and has appeared countless times including many times on morning television. The Adam Lambert image is a subject of great current controversy ... and for all we know, may still lead to legal consequences." CBS' Early Show had Lambert on Nov. 25 after ABC's Good Morning American cancelled his scheduled appearance.

Bebe Zahara Benet, the winner of the first season of Logo's reality competition RuPaul's Drag Race, has released the music video for her debut single, "I'm the Sh*t" from her soon-to-be-released album, Cameroon, according to a press release. Benet ( legal name: Nea Marshall Kudi ) said, "'I'm the Sh*t' is an empowering song that encourages self-worth. We are all The Sh*t in our own unique way. We only need to discover our fabulousness and release it so that everyone can appreciate it."
