In an unprecedented move, the producers of Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical have announced they are canceling the show's Oct. 11 performance so that the entire cast can join the National Equality March in Washington, D.C. The announcement was made by the cast at a rally in Los Angeles, where they were joined by march organizer/LGBT activist Cleve Jones, Oscar-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black ( Milk ) and other gay-rights advocates.
Former Will & Grace star Eric McCormack was devastated when his follow-up TV drama Trust Me was axedand only agreed to a role in the new medical-comedy show Blind Justice so he could keep working, IMDB.com reported. McCormack was thrilled to land a role as a scheming advertising executive in the TNT network show; however, Trust Me was let go after just one season because of poor ratings.
Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe loves it when people thinks he is gay. He told the British tabloid The Sun, "I grew up around gay people my entire life, basically, that's possibly why I'm quite camp, and some people think I'm gay when I meet them, which I think is awesome." In recent interviews, Radcliffe has not cleared up rumors about who he is dating.
Apparently, Kristen Stewart ( Twilight ) will be making out with Dakota Fanning in the movie The Runaways, in which Stewart will portray lesbian rocker Joan Jett, according to ShowbizSpy.com . Actually, Stewart, 19, will get intimate with Fanning, Alessandra Torresani and Stella Maeve. Stewart and Fanning became friends while filming the Twilight sequel New Moon earlier this year, "but this is new territory for them," a source close to the new movie said. |
