Paris Hilton will go from dancing in bars to sitting behind bars after Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer sentenced the heiress to 45 days in jail for driving with a suspended license, according to The Los Angeles Times. She must report to Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood by June 5 or she will have 90 additional days tacked on to her sentence.
Controversial Grey's Anatomy star Isaiah Washington will be the face of GLAAD's ( Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation's ) new public service announcement, PostChronicle.com reported. Washington met with LGBT community leaders earlier this year after referring to co-star T.R. Knight as a 'faggot,' and Washington even went into rehab after using the word a second time at this year's Golden Globes.
Speaking of Washington, he will star in the movie thriller The Least of These, Cinematical.com reported. He will play a troubled priest who goes to a Catholic boarding school when a fellow priest ( suspected as a sexual offender ) disappears.
Jodie Foster is set to portray the late German film director Leni Riefenstahl—known for her friendship with Adolf Hitler—in a movie, according to Cinematical.com . Riefenstahl, who passed away at the age of 101 in 2003, refused to let Foster portray her in a movie, and reportedly wanted Sharon Stone to be her. Now that Riefenstahl has no longer living, the project is up and running again. |
