Late entertainer Anna Nicole Smith was a depressed individual concerned about her husband and her weight, according to two diaries she wrote during the 1990s. CNN.com reported that among her entries was, 'I've been really stressed out lately and depressed and I can't quit eating. I feel like a pig. In the other diary, she penned entries about her then-husband, J. Howard Marshall II, like 'Hes so very weak and fragile When I touch him Im afraid he might break.'

Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie—who portrays a lesbian in the new movie Grindhouse—has said that, when she was younger, she engaged in lesbian relationships as acts of rebellion against her parents, according to The Sydney Morning Herald. Fergie also said that she became involved in drugs, which eventually led to her become a crystal meth addict.

Whitney Houston was granted custody of Bobbi Kristina, her teenage daughter with Bobby Brown, IMDB.com reported. Houston, whose 14-year marriage to Brown ends this month, cried when the Judge Franz Miller made his ruling.

GLAAD has announced that Jennifer Aniston will receive the Vanguard Award at its April 14 ceremony in Los Angeles. Former N*SYNC member Lance Bass will present tennis legend Martina Navratilova with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award, which is named after a successful casting director who fought discrimination against LGBT and HIV/AIDS-impacted people in the entertainment industry.

Disney is not amused by Keith Richards joking that he snorted his dead father's ashes, according to TMZ.com . ( Richards plays the father of Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow, in the upcoming movie Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. ) Company executive Dennis Rice reportedly told a newspaper, 'When [ a senior Disney publicist ] forwarded the ashes story to me, I thought, 'How are we going to spin this?''

Jeff 'JV' Vandergrift and Dan 'Elvis' Lay, two DJs for New York City radio station WFNY, have come under fire for reportedly calling a guest a 'faggot,' according to a CMJ.com item. When John Carnes, a bassist for the band A Brief Smile, commented about the station, the two allegedly used the anti-gay slur. Rashad Robinson, senior director of media programs for GLAAD, said in a statement that 'We are shocked and appalled that this kind of defamatory and vulgar comments are allowed on the air. At the end of the day, this is the type of commentary and terminology that incites violence.'

Singer Ricky Martin is supporting gay singers who have come out of the closet, according to Advocate.com . Martin, who will soon be touring across the United States, told the Associated Press that he empathized with Christian Chavez, a Mexican singer who recently said that he is gay.

In Parade magazine, Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry, 40, said that her 1997 divorce from baseball star David Justice depressed her so much that she attempted suicide, CNN reported. However, Berry also said that she has taken control of her own life thanks to therapy—even after her second divorce from singer Eric Benet in 2005.

Speaking of Berry, she's going bald! According to CNN.com, she is shaving her head for her role in Nappily Ever After, a romantic comedy. Berry will play a woman whose hair is falling out, so she decides to get rid of all of it.

There will be no upcoming exposé of Madonna's private life, according to All Headline News. Crown Books will not publish Melissa Dumas' book, Live to Tell: My Life as Madonna's Nanny. The memoir—which was scheduled to be published in September—details the pop superstar's strict home life.
