Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe, who is nude in London's West End revival of the play Equus, has caused controversy by posing for racy promotional photos for the production, CNN reported. In one photo for the Tony-Award-winning drama that tells the story of a stable hand who has an erotic fixation with horses, Radcliffe, bares it all alongside a white horse; in another, he is pictured with a naked Joanna Christie, the actress who portrays his girlfriend.

Gay television network here! will begin a national marketing campaign in New York City with a month-long outdoor advertising campaign in heart of one of the most densely populated gay and lesbian neighborhoods in the country, according to a here! press release. The subway campaign, which began on Feb. 1 will focus on '1-888-HERE-NOW', a national toll-free number aimed at building subscribers.

Best-selling author and producer Sidney Sheldon died Jan. 30 at age 89 of complications from pneumonia, the Associated Press reported. His novels included the page-turners Rage of Angels, The Other Side of Midnight, and If Tomorrow Comes. However, he also produced TV shows such as The Patty Duke Show and I Dream of Jeannie.

The film version of classic '70s TV series The Bionic Woman is currently on track now that a director has been hired, according to TVGuide.com . Michael Dinner, who last led a pair of episodes of the now-canceled show Kidnapped, is on board, although there is no lead actress yet.

Despite co-star Isaiah Washington's rehab stint for his anti-gay slur, Grey's Anatomy's out actor T.R. Knight may leave the show, according to MSNBC. Knight's spokeswoman did not comment at first, but later denied Knight's departure, saying the rumor was 'one thousand percent false.'

In a related matter, on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, comedian Wanda Sykes joked about Isaiah Washington, saying, 'Gay rehab? That sounds like traffic school,' Out.com reported. After commenting on how African-Americans have 'overcome' now that they are dishing out bigoted comments rather than taking them, Sykes added, 'Maybe gay is the new Black now.'

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation ( GLAAD ) has called on Paris Hilton to explain and apologize to the LGBT and African-American communities for using slurs in a video that has been widely circulated on the Web, according to a GLAAD press release. According to the statement, the video, apparently filmed at a private party, shows Hilton referring to someone as a 'faggot' and referring to herself and her sister, Nicky ( who also calls a man 'faggot' in the video ) , by saying, 'We're like two [ n-word ] s.'

Former NSYNC member Lance Bass has confirmed rumors that he and Amazing Race champ Reichen Lehmkuhl have called it quits in the latest issue of People magazine, Out.com reported. 'We broke up last week,' Bass said. 'But we're really good friends. Nothing bad at all—nothing bad at all to say.'

Less than a week after missing out on a foreign-language Oscar nomination for Volver, openly gay director Pedro Almodovar saw his movie snag several honors at the recent Goya Awards, Spain's equivalent of the Academy Awards. Volver won for best film, actress ( Penelope Cruz ) , original score ( Goya favorite Alberto Iglesias ) and supporting actress ( Carmen Maura ) . Cruz has been nominated for an Oscar in the best actress category.

Red Without Blue, a documentary about one pair of gay twins whose lives change when one decides to undergo a sex change, took the top audience prize in its category at Slamdance, the alternative to the Sundance Film Festival, according to Advocate.com .
