Former supermodel Eve Salvail has officially come out of the closet, almost seven years after a pal told The Advocate that the leggy French-Canadian was a lesbian, according to The Post Chronicle. Salvail, who was discovered by Jean-Paul Gaultier, had never confirmed or denied the story, but recently revealed all on pal Tyra Banks' talk show.

Logo, MTV's LGBT TV station, launched five original audio and video podcasts at Apple's iTunes store on Jan. 16, providing in-depth news and LGBT entertainment at the click of a mouse. Among the podcasts are Jason Bellini's Here and Now ( a news program ) and She Said What? ( in which four co-hosts debate and dish on the week in lesbian entertainment and pop culture ) .
The ensemble drama Babel, the musical Dreamgirls and the road-trip tale Little Miss Sunshine each earned three nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Awards, while Leonardo DiCaprio and Helen Mirren ( who recently won two Golden Globes ) both had two nods, according to The Globe and Mail. Gus Van Sant, the openly gay director of the movie Good Will Hunting, pleaded not guilty to charges of drunken driving and reckless driving, Advocate.com noted. He was ordered to attend a Feb. 9 alcohol diversion hearing. Van Sant was arrested on Dec. 21 near the Portland, Ore., city center. Police said he registered a blood-alcohol level of 0.19 percent, more than double Oregon's limit of 0.08 percent.
Gay clairvoyant Dougall Fraser has weighed in on several items, including ones related to celebrities. In an interview with Philadelphia Gay News, Fraser said that, among other things, Portia and Ellen will stay together; and that Dreamgirls will win the Best Picture Oscar—but that neither Jennifer Hudson nor Eddie Murphy will be victorious.

The video for his upcoming single, She's Madonna—a collaboration with the Pet Shop Boys—features a flock of L.A. drag queens, including actor Alexis Arquette. The song is reportedly about the last words Guy Ritchie uttered to Tania Strecker, his previous girlfriend before he took up with Madonna.
