Enhanced chicken wings seem to be the newest trend, according to the L.A. Times. Delpine at the W Hollywood hotel has wings slathered with items such as truffle-laced cheese, while Sunny Spot in Venice, Calif., has honey garlic-glazed wings. The article says that the dish is becoming more popular because of the recession and the burgeoning snacking and street-food culture.
Kanela, 3231 N. Clark St., is now serving dinner. The restaurant, famed for its brunch items, now will serve dinner items such as stuffed meatballs, bacon mac and cheese, mushroom risotto and scallops and pork chop with peach pork jus.
