—Several area restaurants are supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) with various specials. Among them are Carnivale (702 W. Fulton St.; www.CarvinaleChicago.com ), which is donating some of its proceeds from sales of its Victoria's Secret martini. Chicago Cut Steakhouse (300 N. LaSalle St.; www.ChicagoCutSteakhouse.com ) is donating $4 from every lobster salad sold to the Lynn Sage Foundation. Other Chicago restaurants participating include Cityscape Bar, El's Kitchen & Bar, Gemini Bistro, Giordano's, Hugo's Frog Bar & Fish House, Showplace Icon Theatre, LM Restaurant, LUXBAR, Phil Stefani's 437 Rush, Quartino Ristorante, Riva Crab House, Rustic House, Tavern on Rush, Tuscany Restaurant on Taylor Street, Quay Restaurant & Bar and Vino 100 Chicago.

—The French restaurant Bistronomic, 840 N. Wabash Ave., is promoting its four-course Thanksgiving dinner ($55 for adults; $20 for children; and $10 for children 5 and under). On Thursday, Nov. 24, 2-9 p.m., diners will enjoy a customizable menu featuring four different choices for each course, and there are vegetarian options. Items include peekytoe crab salad, baby spinach lyonnaise, wild mushroom ravioli, roasted farm turkey and apple crepes. See www.Bistronomic.net .

—Table Fifty-Two, 52 W. Elm St., is offering Thanksgiving items to go. All orders must be placed by 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19; reheating instructions will be available. Pick-ups must be made Tuesday-Wed., Nov. 22-23, at 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Side dishes include cornbread, three-cheese mac and a turkey brining kit; pecan, pumpkin and sweet potato pies are the desserts. —Also, Table Fifty-Two has a Saturday sweets stand that concludes Oct. 29. On the front porch, there will be items for sale such as Chef Art Smith's hummingbird cupcakes; jam-filled doughnuts; banana-pineapple cake with cream-cheese frosting; and coffee. Pastry Chef Celeste "CeCe" Campise will be on hand. Only cash will be accepted; see www.tablefifty-two.com .

—Chicago Cut Steakhouse presents 33 new wines by the glass. Wines will range in price from $7-$45 by the glass. Featured wines include St. Clair Sauvignon Blanc 2010, Bond Matriach Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 and Flowers Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2008. Guests receive iPads that provide details about each wine and its origin.

—Lillie's Q, where chef/owner Charlie McKenna serves award-winning competition BBQ along with Southern favorites and sides in Bucktown (1856 W. North Ave.), has launched the Lillie's Q Meat Mobile food truck in the Ampco System Parking lot at 28 N. Franklin. It will be there through early November.

The Lillie's Q Meat Mobile, a 24-foot long Ford truck, will sell pulled-pork sandwiches on brioche and pulled-chicken sandwiches on brioche, among other items. The truck is cash-only. Updates will also be provided via the truck's Twitter feed ( twitter.com/LQMeatMobile&, Facebook page ( www.facebook.com/LQMeatMobile&; and website ( http://lilliesq.com/meatmobile.aspx).

—Halsted Street Deli celebrates National Sandwich Day Thursday, Nov. 3, by offering every sandwich on the menu for only $5 at all of its seven downtown Chicago locations: 177 N. State St.; 1 S. Franklin St.; 233 N. Michigan Ave.; 555 W. Monroe St.; 30 N. La Salle St. (entrance on Washington St.); 222 N. La Salle and 400 S. La Salle St. (There is no limit per person.)

—Chicago-based pizza chain Giordano's, which is facing bankruptcy, has received a $26 million offer for its restaurant operations, according to the Chicago Tribune. Giordano's has entered into an agreement with Italian Food Network LLC, court papers have stated. The entity is reportedly connected to the Connie's Pizza restaurant chain.

—Lincoln Square French gastro bistro LM Restaurant will serve a four-course menu on Thanksgiving for $45 1-8 p.m. Executive Chef Justin Perdue will serve chestnut soup with poached apple and celery ragout; seared scallop with leek confit, winter truffle and Parmesan foam; Slow cooked turkey breast with sweet potato gratin, Brussels sprout and jus; and Pumpkin tart with cranberry chutney and cream cheese. (The menu is subject to change.)

—Garrett Popcorn Shops is partnering with the Grammy Award-winning band Wilco to support the Jane Addams Hull House Association. On Nov. 1-24, Garrett will offer "The Whole Love" bundle: a one gallon, collectible Wilco tin filled with the crowd pleasing Chicago Mix and bundled with Wilco's The Whole Love CD. Hull House will receive $4 from each $43.99 bundle. See www.GarrettPopcorn.com .
