Dining news: Sepia's $6 offerings; Joe Fish reconceived

—Sepia, 123 N. Jefferson St., recently launched its "Greatest Hits" menu. Chef Andrew Zimmerman and Head Bartender Griffin Elliott are showcasing a few of Sepia's most popular options over the past eight years for $6 each, including classic cocktails and bites like the Sepia Old Fashioned, Duck Liver Mousse, Blistered Shishito Peppers, Crispy Confit Potatoes and other favorites. These items are available Monday through Friday 4-6 p.m. in the bar or lounge.

—Joe Fish, 445 N. Dearborn St., has been reconceived as Joe Fish Italian. The "Joe" in "Joe Fish Italian"—Rosebud Corporate Chef Joe Farina—said in a press release that "what's different now is that we will be serving modern yet rustic Italian dishes" along with seafood. New additions to the menu include chicken parmesan "pizza" with house-made giardiniera and chili honey, and prime meatballs a la Joseph ( a Rosebud favorite ) offered in four different preparations. —ENO Wine Room, 505 N. Michigan Ave., has partnered with wineries around the world to create two private custom-label wines, exclusively available for purchase at ENO locations in Chicago, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. The wines are Chateau de Rougerie AC Bordeaux Superiore ( France; merlot ) and Maipo Valley Red Blend ( Chile; 60% Carmenere, 30% Syrah and 10% Malbec ). A third, 2013 City Winery Cab Franc Blend ( United States ), is available in Chicago. ENO Wine Room will showcase the first two ENO wines by the glass or bottle; City Winery is available as a flight or glass.

—Spa at JW Chicago, located inside JW Marriott Chicago ( 151 W. Adams St. ), announces the launch of the spa's new holistic and healthy spa cuisine menu from Executive Chef Michael Reich. The menu is complete with wellness bites, such as the chia-seed parfait ( $11 ), with local honey, toasted almonds, and fresh berries; small plates, including vegetable crudite ( $9 ), crispy crackers, avocado lemon dipping sauce; and four different bento boxes. —Following a brief closure for required updates and renovations to the building, Acadia, 1639 S. Wabash Ave., now has a refinished space and new seasonal tasting menus. The 10-course pairing menu is priced at $165 per person and $115 for wine pairings or $90 for mixed pairings ( coming soon ); the five-course pairing menu is priced at $95 per person and $50 for wine pairings. —Chef Ryan Poli has announced that the intimate dinner series "Jam at Night" will return to Jam Restaurant, 3057 W. Logan Blvd., Wednesdays through Saturdays on Nov. 4-Dec. 5 ( except the week of Nov. 23 ) at 7:30 p.m. Jam at Night features an eight-course tasting menu that changes daily. —The Pig+Pomme, a collaboration by chefs Cam Smith and StephenB, will have a pop-up event Thursday, Oct. 22, at Brix Event Space, 1463 W. Leland Ave., at 7 p.m. The five-course tasting dinner will focus on a pork-and-apples theme with items such as sweet pork belly and savory tenderloin. —The third annual James Beard Foundation's Taste Chicago will take place Friday, Oct. 23, at The Geraghty, 2520 S. Hoyne Ave. The cocktail/tasting reception will be at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m. ( Cocktail attire is requested. ) Some of the chefs slated to participate include Paramount Events' Devon Quinn, Big Jones' Paul Fehribach, Parachute's Johnny Clark and Beverly Kim, and Acadia's Ryan McCaskey, with chef Rick Bayless and TV figure Steve Dolinsky co-hosting. —The Andersonville Dessert Crawl will take place Sunday, Oct. 24, 2-5 p.m. The ticket pick-up will take place at the Swedish American Museum, 5211 N. —Chicagoans will get a new taste of Old Town during the 2015 Old Town Restaurant Week Monday-Saturday, Oct. 26-31. This week-long foodie celebration, presented by the Old Town Merchants & Residents Association, will include more than a dozen restaurants offering special menu options, cooking demonstrations and week-long dining deals across Chicago's historic Old Town neighborhood. —Caffe RoM & Fido To Go invite Chicagoans to celebrate Halloween at Caffè RoM's Shoreham location, 400 E. South Water St., on Saturday, Oct. 31, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Guests will enjoy cookie give-a-ways with purchase of any seasonal drink along with treats and prizes for their furry friends. —Kings Bowl—a 24,000-square-foot bowling, dining and cocktail venue—will open a new location in Lincoln Park at New City, 1500 N. Clybourn Ave., on Monday, Nov. 2. Kings will give a free year of bowling ( two games each month for a full year ) to the first 250 visitors through its doors Nov. 2 at 5 p.m. Food will include hand-formed buffalo wontons, pan-seared ginger soy-glazed salmon and chicken wings. —Cocoa + Co., a store and cafe at 1651 N. Wells St. featuring a collection of artisan chocolatiers, will begin afternoon tea service Wed., Nov. 4. Guests will enjoy a selection of Cocoa + Co.'s scones and signature pastries before sampling bonbons created by featured chocolatiers, then finishing with a sampler of drinking chocolates. —On Saturday, Nov. 7, at 12 p.m., urbanbelly Owner/Executive Chef Bill will host the second annual Ramenfest, where 20 chefs from across the city will prepare their best ramen dish in hopes of being named this year's ramen winner. A portion of all proceeds from the event ( at 1400 W. Randolph St. ) will benefit Common Threads, the non-profit charity founded by Chicago Chef Art Smith committed to educating underserved communities about different cultures through food and art. —Lambs Farm will host its "Harvesting the Spirit 2015" benefit Nov. 7 at the historic Grand Hall at Union Station. —Meals on Wheels Chicago ( MOWC ) will be hosting 60 of Chicago's chefs and more than a dozen mixologists at its 27th annual Celebrity Chef Ball on Friday, Nov. 13, 6 p.m.-12:30 a.m., at Morgan Manufacturing, 401 N. Morgan St. In addition to tastings, guests will also enjoy a silent auction, photo booth and more.
