The Chicago Bulls (36-21) won their third straight game, defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder (17-39) 106-101 at the United Center on Feb. 12.
DeMar DeRozan continued his scoring onslaught with 38 points in his latest game; it was his fifth consecutive game with at least 35 pointsjoining legend Michael Jordan, who did so four times in his career, ESPN.com noted. DeRozan played the Thunder without fellow All-Star Zach LaVine, who sat out the second half of a back-to-back with right knee soreness.
Luguentz Dort led the Thunder with 31 points.
The Bulls next face the San Antonio Spurs on Monday, Feb. 14, in Chicago.
On Feb. 12, the St. Louis Blues (27-14-5) manhandled the Chicago Blackhawks (17-24-7) 5-1 in Missouri.
The Blackhawks found themselves in a two-goal hole early in the contest against their Central Division foes. Dylan Strome scored on the power play for the second straight game for Chicago's lone score of the night. Marc-Andre Fleury made 26 stops in the loss.
Chicago will end its three-game trip on Monday, Feb. 14, in Winnipeg in the second meeting of the season against the Jets.
