Our performances are as original and innovative as they are dynamic and conceptually strong. We always have a positive message and our goal is to inspire individuals to love their true identity and accept the identities of others. Our goal is to expose as many people as possible to this message, especially women, LGBTQ community, people of color and in urban communities. In order for us to better reach people in underserved communities we are based in the heart of the south side of Chicago. Anita Davis Dance Theater teaches workshops and performs throughout the city.

" As violence rises, Anita Davis Dance Theatre brings hope to Chicago by giving a fundraiser that takes kids off the streets and puts them in dance and theatre camp."
