Radio Golf, Goodman Theatre, through Feb. 18. August Wilson finished this last of his 10 plays about 20th-century African-American life just months before he died. It's a warm and affectionate testament of hope, set in Pittsburgh's Hill District in the 1990s. JA
Young Playwrights Festival, Pegasus Players, through Jan. 28. It features a trio of student plays that are funny and full of promise despite their tried-and-true sitcom conventions. Karma has great street slang dialogue; Kid Kuisine offers zany one-liners and visual gags. SCM
