Community meeting planned on Nat'l Park Service LGBTQ Heritage Initiative

In 2014, the National Park Service launched the LGBTQ Heritage Initiative to help address the underrepresentation of LGBTQ history and heritage by our nation's storyteller and history keeper. Come and meet with Megan Springate, the prime consultant for the LGBTQ Heritage Initiative and learn more about the project, what advances we have made, what work still needs to be done, and to ask questions and engage with this important Park Service project.
When: Thursday, January 28, 2016, 6pm-7pm
Where: Etienne Auditorium, Leather Archives & Museum, 6418 N Greenview Ave., Chicago, IL
Free, and open to the public 18 years of age and older. This community meeting is sponsored by the Leather Archives & Museum. http://www.leatherarchives.org/
