Professional Young Gays event April 21
Professional Young Gays ( PYG ) will hold its spring mixer Thursday, April 21, 6-8:30 p.m., at the penthouse suite at 111 W. Jackson.
PYG is a venue for networking, developing contacts and the exchanging of ideas among guests and members in a safe gay friendly atmosphere. PYG always features an informative speaker at each reception.

About Face's Wonka Ball April 21
About Face will hold its annual Wonka Ball Thursday, April 21, at the School of the Art Institute's ballroom, 112 S. Michigan.
The theme is "Wonka Throws a Royal Wedding."

Tony winner to perform May 2
Tony Award winner Alice Ripley will be featured in "Daily Practice: The Acoustic Sessions" Monday, May 2, at 8 p.m. at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont.
Ripley won a Tony for her role in the musical Next to Normal, and was nominated for her performance in the musical Side Show. She made her Broadway debut in The Who's Tommy in 1993.

Tibetan exhibit May 7-8
Diamond Way Buddhist Center will present an exhibition of Buddhist statues and thankgas ( Tibetan scroll paintings ) from its North American Collection on Saturday, May 7, 2-7 p.m., and on Sunday, May 8, 12-5 p.m., at Flourish Studio, 3020 N. Lincoln.
