Chicago Women's Health Center ( CWHC ) is celebrating its 4th Annual Revolutionary Health Care fundraiser on Monday, July 18th from 6:30 — 8:30 p.m. at Revolution Brewing Brewpub. This year's annual fundraising event features music from DJ Black Gold and raffle prizes from local favorites such as Ravinia, The Second City, Lillstreet Art Center, The Logan Theater, and more. Tickets are available on a sliding scale of $45—$65 and include unlimited beer and appetizers.
CWHC, a community-based nonprofit located in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago, works to facilitate the empowerment of women and trans* people by providing access to health care and health education in a respectful environment where people pay what they can afford. CWHC provides services such as primary care, counseling, massage and educational programming for schools and organizations throughout Chicago. In 2016, CWHC will provide these services to more than 6,000 clients and students.
"For over forty years, CWHC has provided care and services that people in Chicago need, but often cannot find anywhere else. Revolutionary Healthcare is our annual opportunity to celebrate and raise funds to ensure CWHC can continue providing righteous, compassionate care today, tomorrow, and into the future." said Board chair, Emily Carroll.
