In WNBA action, the Chicago Sky lost its third straight game, as the Los Angeles Sparks defeated them 76-61 on May 28.
The Sky (2-3)who were held to their lowest point total of the seasonhave yet to win a home game at Wintrust Arena.
Returning from injury, Diamond DeShields led the team in scoring for the first time this season with 14 points, shooting three of seven from the field.
The Sky and Sparks (1-2) will play their second of a two-game set on Sunday, May 30, at 5 p.m. CT. The game will be televised locally on CW26 in Chicago and Spectrum SportsNet in Los Angeles, as well as nationally on Facebook and WNBA League Pass. |
