Description: Marlon Riggs' films include Anthem is an experimental music video asserting a defiant homoeroticism of African American male sexuality. Affirmations explores Black male dreams and desires and is framed by the poetry of Essex Hemphill. Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien ( No Regret ) is a poetic and intimate film presenting moving testimonials and portraits of five Black gay men. They each disclose their HIV+ status and how they fiercely combat the stigma around the disease.
Doors at 5:30 p.m. and screening at 6 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

Description: How Do I Look by Wolfgang Busch is a view inside the Harlem Drag Ball competition, a showcase of talents on and off the runway. We learn about the artists' daily struggles with HIV/AIDS, artistic exploitation and drugs. Watch the artists bring it to the runway, battling for status and fame, to make it into the "Ballroom Hall of Fame," the ultimate "Ballroom" achievement.
Doors at 5:30 p.m. and screening at 6 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

Description Alike is a 17-year-old African-American woman with a flair for poetry and a good student at her local high school. Alike is quietly but firmly embracing her identity as a lesbian. With the sometimes boisterous support of her best friend, Alike is especially eager to find a girlfriend. At home, her parents' marriage is strained and there is further tension in the household. Alike strives to get through adolescence with grace, humor, and tenacitysometimes succeeding, sometimes not, but always moving forward. Pariah is a debut film by Dee Rees.
