Center on Halsted's 'Human First' gala set for May 4

Center on Halsted is hosting its annual signature event, the Human First Galawhich recognizes the contributions of individuals, businesses and other organizations to the LGBTQ community in Chicagoon Saturday, May 4, at The Geraghty, 2520 S. Hoyne Ave.
The cocktail reception will be at 5:30 p.m., with awards, dinner and dancing starting at 7 p.m.
The 2019 Human First awardees include Christy Webber, Duane DesParte and John Schneider. The Community Spirit Award will be presented to Joel Hall and Olivia Connors.
