( Chicago ) — CENTER ON HALSTED has teamed up with CROSSTOWN FITNESS to offer a complimentary high intensity training experience. The premier gym, currently located in the West Loop, will open its second location in the Lakeview neighborhood in early fall. Center on Halsted patrons and neighborhood residents have the opportunity to get a sneak peak of the gym's ultimate full body workouts! Beginning on Tuesday, September 22, CTF certified trainer Tres Rodgers will host the Free Community Total Body Class at Center on Halsted. Classes will be every Tuesday and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:20 a.m. through the end of November.
The CTF classes will offer drills that incorporate cardiovascular endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, agility and balance. The endless variety of exercises and instructor styles ensures that no two classes are the same and that every class feels new and exciting. Classes will be capped at 40 people and participants can sign up on the CrossTown Fitness website ( www.crosstownfitness.com ) to secure a class spot. Participants of a Free Community Total Body Class can also enjoy 25% off at My Fit Foods, located across the street from Center on Halsted, pre or post workout.
