Casting announced for national tour of Hello, Dolly!

CHICAGO ( August 9, 2018 ) Producer Scott Rudin and Broadway In Chicago are delighted to announce the cast for the first national tour of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival of HELLO, DOLLY! starring Broadway legend, Tony Award winner Betty Buckley. The first national tour of HELLO, DOLLY! will play Broadway In Chicago's historic Oriental Theatre ( 24 W. Randolph ) for a limited four-week engagement October 23 through November 17, 2018.

The previously announced Ms. Buckley will be joined by Lewis J. Stadlen ( Horace Vandergelder ), Nic Rouleau( Cornelius Hackl ), Analisa Leaming ( Irene Molloy ), Jess LeProtto ( Barnaby Tucker ), Kristen Hahn ( Minnie Fay ), Garett Hawe ( Ambrose Kemper ), Morgan Kirner ( Ermengarde ), and Jessica Sheridan ( Ernestina ).

The ensemble will feature Maddy Apple, Daniel Beeman, Brittany Bohn, Giovanni Bonaventura, Elizabeth Broadhurst, Whitney Cooper, Julian DeGuzman, Wally Dunn, Alexandra Frohlinger, Dan Horn, Corey Hummerston, Madison Johnson, Nathan Keen, Beth Kirkpatrick, Ben Lanham, Ian Liberto, Kyle Samuel, Scott Shedenhelm, Timothy Shew, Maria Cristina Slye, Cassie Austin Taylor, Davis Wayne, Brandon L. Whitmore, and Connor Wince.

Led by four-time Tony Award-winning director Jerry Zaks and choreographed by Tony Award winner Warren Carlyle, the entire creative team of the Broadway production reprises their roles for the national tour of HELLO, DOLLY!, including four-time Tony Award winner Santo Loquasto ( Scenic & Costume Design ), six-time Tony Award winner Natasha Katz( Lighting Design ), Tony Award winner Scott Lehrer ( Sound Design ), Andy Einhorn ( Music Supervision ), Robert Billig( Music Direction ), Tony Award winner Larry Hochman ( Orchestrations ), Tony Award winner Don Pippin ( Vocal Arrangements ), David Chase ( Dance Arrangements ), and Telsey + Company ( Casting ).

HELLO, DOLLY! began performances on Broadway on March 15, 2017, and officially opened on April 20, 2017. Having broken the record for best first day of ticket sales in Broadway history, the box office record at the Shubert Theatre twelve times, and shattering The Shubert Organization's all-time record ten times, this production will end its historic Broadway run on August 25, 2018.

BETTY BUCKLEY ( Dolly Gallagher Levi ) called "The Voice of Broadway" by New York Magazine, is known as a legendary, multi-award-winning performer, and is a 2012 Theatre Hall of Fame inductee and 2017 recipient of the Julie Harris Award for Artistic Achievement, given by The Actors Fund. Her Broadway credits include Triumph of Love ( Tony Award nomination ), Sunset Boulevard, Carrie ( Outer Critics Circle Award nomination ), Song and Dance, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Cats ( Tony Award ), Pippin, and 1776. Ms. Buckley's London stage credits include Dear World; Sunset Boulevard ( Olivier Award nomination ); and Promises, Promises ( Evening Standard Award nomination ). Off Broadway, her credits include Old Friends ( Drama Desk Award nomination ), White's Lies, Elegies, The Eros Trilogy, Juno's Swans, I Am Getting My Act Together and Taking It on the Road. Regional: Grey Gardens ( Ovation Award nomination ), Old Friends, Arsenic and Old Lace, The Threepenny Opera, Buffalo Gal, Camino Real, Gypsy. She has received two Honorary Doctorates for her contribution to the Musical Theater from The Boston Conservatory and Marymount Manhattan College.

LEWIS J. STADLEN ( Horace Vandergelder ) is the recipient of the Irish Times Award for his performance at Dublin's Gate Theatre production of Arthur Miller's The Price. Broadway: The Front Page, Fish in the Dark, The Nance, The Producers, 45 Seconds From Broadway, The Man Who Came to Dinner, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum ( Tony Award nomination ), The Female Odd Couple, Candide ( Tony nomination ), The Sunshine Boys, and Minnie's Boys ( Drama Desk Award, Outer Critic's Circle Award, and Theatre World Award ). He starred in the national tours of The Producers, Guys and Dolls, The Time of Your Life, Fiddler on the Roof, and Laughter on the 23rd Floor. His film credits include The Verdict, Serpico, To Be or Not To Be, and In & Out. Television: Dr. Fried onThe Sopranos.

NIC ROULEAU ( Cornelius Hackl ) recently finished a record 2,500 performances in The Book of Mormon. He has performed in The Book of Mormon on Broadway, in Chicago ( original cast ), on the national tour, and on the West End. Television credits include Daddy's Boy in Tina Fey's Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt ( Netflix ) and the 2012 Tony Awards( CBS ). Other credits include Legally Blonde ( US national tour ) and Toy Story: The Musical ( Disney ). Education: Bachelor of Music Degree from New York University, Steinhardt.
