Millions of people expressed their of Spirit Day as a sign of support for LGBT youth and to speak out against bullying by incorporating the color purple. People wore purple items of clothing or even tinted their Facebook photos that color.

Among the people who wore purpose were several personalities at CNBC, including Jim Cramer, Carl Quintanilla and Amanda Drury.
