On Oct. 23 at the United Center, the Chicago Blackhawks (3-2-0) defeated the Seattle Kraken (2-3-2) 5-4.
It was the Blackhawks' third consecutive game with a third-period comeback.
Tyler Johnson recorded his second goal of the night to tie the score at 4-4 in the third period. Just 13 seconds later, Jason Dickinson secured the Blackhawks' win with a goal of his own.
During a press conference, head coach Luke Richardson contributed the late comeback wins to the team building chemistry and never giving up in the third period. "I thought that as the game went along, we played better," he said. "When it really counted at the end, we played hard and they played for each other. They're really becoming a group in there and it's nice to see."
Next, Chicago will host the Florida Panthers (4-1-1) on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 7:30 p.m. CT.
