After being down 3-1 for the majority of the game, the Chicago Blackhawks (2-2-0) were able to make a comeback late in the third to send the game into overtime on Oct. 21 at the United Center.
The result was that Max Domi scored on a two-on-one breakaway to secure the team's 4-3 victory against the Detroit Red Wings (2-0-2).
With the overtime win, this marks their second straight game where the team has made a comeback after trailing through two periods.
The Blackhawks return to the United Center on Sunday, Oct. 23, with a 1 p.m. scheduled puck drop against the Seattle Kraken.
Bradley Beal made a bank shot with 7.4 seconds remaining to give the Washington Wizards (2-0) a 102-100 win over the visiting Chicago Bulls (1-1) on Oct. 21.
Beal had previously made news since a five-year deal worth up to $251 million kept the star guard with the Wizards.
Chicago's DeMar DeRozan had 32 points to lead all scorers, and the Bulls nearly won their second straight game to start the season without Zach LaVine. DeRozan scored 37 in the opener against Miami.
The Bulls will next host Cleveland on Saturday, Oct. 22. Interestingly, the Wizards' next game will be at Cleveland on Sunday, Oct. 23.

The start time for the 5K, 10K and 15K runs will be 7:30 a.m. while the start time for the two-mile walk will be approximately 8:15 a.m. The event will start and end at Grant Park, 301 S. Columbus Dr.
Of course, there will be a post-run party. Each participant will receive a finisher mug that includes fondue, dippables and hot chocolate.
If participants do not choose to have their packets mailed, they must attend expo (at Navy Pier on Nov. 3-4) to pick up the packets.
