The National Black Lesbian & Gay Leadership Forum (NBLGLF) and the Sexual Minority Alliance of Alameda County, Diversity 2003 (SMAAC Youth Center) announce that this year's Conferences will be held simultaneously in New Orleans Aug. 21-24.

The Leadership Forum's desire has always been to present conferences that are innovative, and merging the Leadership Forum Conference with Diversity 2003 (Youth & Adults) will maintain this flavor.

The Leadership Forum is the main national organization dedicated to empowering the Black lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community. The Forum does this by: Building bridges between the Black lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgender community and other communities; Advocating on the national level; Educating the public about the lives and contribution of Black lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgender persons; Increasing visibility within the media; and Developing strong leaders for the future.
