"He plays a kid who refuses to go down."Allison Janney describes the role played by Chris Colfer in the just-wrapped flick Struck by Lightning. He won't go down? I think I dated him!
Life is full of hard decisions. After all my travels, I wanted nothing more than to just relax in Boston. On the other hand, I really wanted to zip back to my Beverly Hills abode. Why? Because my girls, The Go-Go's, were FINALLY being honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. This event was happening just days before their return to the Greek Theatre for a concertwhich was taking place on the birthday of my bon ami, Belinda Carlisle. No-brainer, right? Problem is, Belinda shares that birthday with Big Mama Mastersand this is her 70th birthday (Mama, not Belinda). Obviously blood is thicker than water (plus there's an inheritance to consider). I had to make due with sending congrats to Babe and all the Go-Go's for this long overdue landmark.
I'm not alone in my adoration of the lovely Miss Carlisle. Sexy Dominic Cooper (who appears in Captain America) has confessed that he, too, is a fan: "She was one of those childhood obsessions. It wasn't anything to do with the music, thoughI certainly wasn't entranced by 'Circle in the Sand'." Now, was that really necessary? I've recently come to realize how rarely brutal honesty is called for. Dominic continued, "I think that she was my first crush and I just had visions of owning a sports car, with Belinda Carlisle draped across the bonnet." If this ever does happen, I hope she's singing "Circle in the Sand!"
Adam Levine is enjoying quite a bit of attention given the success of The Voice. And with his penchant for posing sans clothing, it's no surprise that much of that attention is coming from gay mensomething he's actually happy about, as he recently told Out magazine: "There's no way to hide my straightness, but if people didn't think there was a small chance I was gay, then I wouldn't be doing my job very well. Look at the best ones, guys whose sexuality was always questioned. Bowie. Jagger. Freddie Mercury. I wouldn't be the front man of a band if that question hadn't come up at some point." Of course, all of these men did have relationships with men.
One of the best things to come out of The Voice was the exposure it gave my friend, the fabulous Frenchie Davis. I'm happy to say that she'll be appearing at the upcoming Kingdom party at Gay Days Anaheim on Oct. 1. Go to www.GayDaysAnaheim.com for information and tickets. (Order earlythey sold out last year.)
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is in an enviable position. On one hand, Abercrombie & Fitch has asked that he stop wearing their clothes on Jersey Shoreand the cast has even been offered "a substantial payment" to do so. The press release says, "We understand that the show is for entertainment purposes, but believe this association is contrary to the aspirational nature of our brand"a brand which usually poses their models without even a stitch of clothing. So much for that "aspirational nature" (let's not even mention their "GTL" and "Fitchuation" shirts). On the other hand, Larry Flynt over at Hustler issued his own press release offering to "pay Mr. Sorrentino to wear our clothing so that he can stay well dressed." The only thing I find fascinating about this situation is that anyone is calling him Mr. Sorrentino!
Given all those shirtless pics I keep posting on BillyMasters.com, it's no surprise that little Patrick Schwarzenegger has been asked to model for a clothing company. So if you're in L.A., you don't have to look down at your computer to see his taut torso. Just look high up above Sunset Boulevard and you'll see a huge billboard for Hudson Jeans featuring a shirtless, reclining Patrick. The brand appears to like using the spawn of celebsMick Jagger and Jerry Hall's daughter, Georgia May, is also a model. But I certainly won't be running any photos of her!
Another sexy son of a celeb (try saying that three times fast) is making a splash. Ricky Schroder's son Luke just finished filming A Mile in His Shoes. The movie is about an autistic country boy who is an amazing pitcher. He joins a minor league baseball team managed by Dean Cain. This film is headed for the Gospel Music Channel, so maybe there'll be some dancing and singing and some tambourine playing. No matterLuke is mighty handsome, as you'll see on our website.
BTW, we hear that Burt Reynolds is in danger of losing his Florida estate. The mansion, located in Hobe Sound, is a sprawling property that even includes a hair salon. Someone should have known that was a losing venture!
This week's "Ask Billy" question hits a little close to home. Joshua in Seattle writes: "Our film festival showed The Seminarian with a really hot actor, Mark Cirillo. I was trying to find out some information about him or the movie and I came across some photos of him ... with YOU! What can you tell me about him? And is the movie ever coming out? You must have some hot pics to tide me over."
I thought all photos of Mark and I were removed from the web for ... well, for obvious reasons! Mark is a sweet guy and a talented actor and, yes, he's awfully handsome. I have not seen The Seminarian, but I have no doubt he's good in it because he's good in everything. Your question gave me the perfect excuse to reconnect with him, and he says that DVD pre-sales will begin before the end of the year. You can get more information over at Facebook.com/TheSeminarian. You can also check out Facebook.com/MarkCirilloActor. To tide you over, I found some stills from the flickincluding Mark's nude scenewhich I'll happily post on BillyMasters.com .
When I'm running photos of a nude seminarian, it's definitely time to end yet another column. With Big Mama's birthday over, I'm leaving Boston and heading down to the beach house in Fort Lauderdale to enjoy some sun and surf. While you're surfing the web, check out www.BillyMasters.comthe site that always sizzles. If you've got a question about one of my sexy and talented friends, drop a note to Billy@BillyMasters.com and I promise to get back to you before Belinda records the love theme to Captain America Part 2. So, until next time, remember, one man's filth is another man's bible.
