Director Brad Kisner says, "Based on events that took place during a dark historical period, Cabaret is a collection of brilliant sketches of a society in decay. Big Noise Theatre's production looks to realistically portray the individuals who lived during this time through the lens of a great American musical."

About Cabaret

Welcome to the infamous Kit Kat Klub, where the Emcee ( David Geinosky ), Sally Bowles ( Laura Sportiello ), and a raucous ensemble take the stage nightly to tantalize the crowd - and leave their troubles outside. But as life in 1930s Germany grows more uncertain; will the decadent allure of Berlin nightlife be enough to get them through their dangerous times? One of the most powerful and popular musicals of the 20th century, the score contains many well known hits including "Willkommen," "Mein Herr," "Maybe This Time," and the title song "Cabaret."

The cast includes- David Geinosky ( Elk Grove ), Laura Sportiello ( Chicago ), Dan Gold( Chicago ), Lauren Miller ( Chicago ), Ken Rubenstein ( Chicago ), Andrew Thayer( Hoffman Estates ), Alli Braun ( Oak Park ). With an ensemble of Megan Arseneau, Rebecca Fortier, Michael Greenlief, Tressa Greschak, Justine Klein, Isaac Loomer, Kristin Ross, Peter Ruger, Lucy Scherschligt, Annie Snow, Joseph Wesolowski, Chase Wheaton-Werle and Marissa Williams.

With a Production Staff including- Producer by Daiva Paulis ( Chicago ), Brad Kisner- Director ( Chicago ), Bobby Andrews- Choreographer ( Chicago ), Jeff Poindexter- Music Director ( Palatine ).

Big Noise Theatre Company's productions continue to be known for bringing Downtown quality to the suburbs at reasonable rates. Big Noise strives to produce high-quality shows that stretch the creative talents of their actors and staff as well as surpass the expectations of their audience. To close out our season we're bringing the family friendly musical, Seussical, the Musical, this fall from Sept 23-Oct 16. Make sure to check Big Noise out on Facebook and Twitter.
