In celebration of April being Bacon Month, there will be bacon-related activities throughout late March and all of April.
Among some of the activities will be:
—Bacon Month Kickoff Party ( March 31, 7-10 p.m. ): Baconfest Chicago and the ACME Hotel Company, 15 E. Ohio St., are hosting the event, which will take place in the Berkshire Room. The ACME Hotel Company will supply bacon swag bags filled with treats. Admission is $30.
—Kevin Bacon Movie Nights ( Tuesdays in April at ACME Hotel Company, 7 p.m. ): Attendees will see Footloose, Apollo 13, A Few Good Men, Picture Perfect, The River Wild and more. Guests can enjoy complimentary bacon dusted popcorn from The Berkshire Room and wine, beer and cocktails are available for purchase.
—Bacon Thursdays at Benny's Chop House ( 3-7 p.m. ): Items at the restaurant, 444 N. Wabash Ave., will include Benny's Chop House bacon, BLT flatbreads and bacon tacos.
