Cuisine: Halsted French
Ambiance: Column A: Cornelia's. Column B: X/O
Appetizer To Die For: Crepe with grilled chicken and roasted vegetables with tarragon cream sauce had a nice presentation, but a bit bland. Go for the Pomme Frittes with 3 Sauces.
Best Bets: What appeared to be King Henry VIII's Lambchop. It was GINORMOUS, but a minute overcooked. Prepare yourself for more sandwich options than entrees.
Sweet Temptations: The creative martinis could easily be sipped for dessert, but the Chocolate Ice Cream Cake couldn't have been inhaled fast enough.
Veggie-sexual? Try: Vegetables and Goat Cheese on Ciabatta... served toasted.
But What To Drink?: Basic wine and extensive martini list... although they were out of the first two wines I requested.
Service: Decent and personable.
Price Range: Reasonable, but maybe about 10% more than its worth.
