The Ann Sather Restaurants family is planning to serve dozens of its regular diners a traditional Thanksgiving dinner in its dining rooms.
Such dining was unavailable last year because of the COVID pandemic.
Chicago Alderman and Ann Sather owner Tom Tunney said in a press release, "For many people, coming to Ann Sather on Thanksgiving is a tradition, so we are delighted to be open this year and welcome diners to enjoy an abundant Thanksgiving meal at one of our three locations."
The special Thanksgiving Day dinner is $26.95. In addition to the special turkey dinner, all three locations will have Ann Sather's regular breakfast menu available until 11 a.m.
Those wishing to carry out their dinners should call the restaurant from which they'd like to pick up their order by Wed., Nov. 24, at noon and indicate their pick-up times. All locations open at 7 a.m. for breakfast and pick-up orders. The Thanksgiving Day dinner is only available at 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at 909 W. Belmont Ave. (773-348-2378); and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the cafes at 3415 N. Broadway (773-305-0024) and 1147 W. Granville Ave (773-274-0557). There will be no delivery service available on Thanksgiving Day.
Also, Ann Sather is once again accepting telephone and in-person orders for its homemade pies. Priced at $14 each, the pies available for pre-order are pumpkin, apple and chocolate-pecan.
