Personal PAC, a bi-partisan political action committee ( PAC ) dedicated to electing pro-choice candidates to state and local offices in Illinois, is hosting its 13th Annual Awards Luncheon at noon on Friday, Oct. 20, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 E. Wacker Drive.
Personal PAC is excited to announce that this year's guest speaker will be Emmy Award-winning actress and civil-rights activist, Alfre Woodard. Her dedication to reproductive health and rights, both here in the U.S. and in Africa, have resulted in nationwide boycotts led by anti-choice groups.
The Irving B. Harris Spirit of Choice Award will be presented to longtime reproductive rights supporter, Leo A. Smith.
Ticket prices for the event start at $100 and can be reserved by calling 312-422-0005 or by visiting www.personalpac.org . |
