Bulls guard Alex Caruso returned to action as the Chicago (41-26) defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers (38-29) 101-91 on March 12 at the United Center.
Caruso had 11 points and four steals. Interestingly, this game was the first time the Bulls have kept an opponent to less than 100 since Caruso's last game, against the Milwaukee Bucks, ESPN noted.
Although Caruso returned to the lineup, the Bulls were playing without guard Zach LaVine, who missed the game because of left knee discomfort. LaVine has been dealing with discomfort in the knee since January, and it recurred following the March 9 game against the Detroit Pistons.
DeMar DeRozan led the Bulls with 25 points while Nikola Vucevic added 20; Darius Garland had 25 for the Cavaliers.
The Bulls next play at the Sacramento Kings on Monday, March 14.
Bulls Fest 2022 will take place Labor Day weekend, Sept. 3-4, outside the United Center, 1901 W. Madison St.
Attendees will experience food, music and, of course, basketball at the event. There will be a 3v3 tournament, in which any team of three persons can enter.
Admission is free, although 3v3 entrants have to pay a fee. (Early-bird pricing is in effect through April 30.)
