Artistic Director Eric Rosen and Executive Director Gregory Copeland have announced About Face Theatre's 2006-'07 season—and the shows are definitely varied.
About Face returns to year-round producing in the upcoming season with a full slate of shows from fall to summer, featuring the Chicago premiere of playwright Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa with his romantic comedy Say You Love Satan, and a reconceived production of Execution of Justice, directed by Chicago's own Gary Griffin.
In addition, the 2006-'07 season will continue showcasing incredible artists for Chicago audiences, including new work by About Face Artistic Director Eric Rosen and Matt Sax, a phenomenal talent just out of Northwestern with the explosive one-man hip-hop musical Clay to be co-produced with Lookingglass Theatre Company, and director Jessica Thebus and the original team from About Face's hit show Pulp.
Prices for the four-play subscription range from $92 to $160. To subscribe, call About Face at 773-784-8565, ext 109 or visit www.AboutFaceTheatre.com .
Also see online listings of opening dates www.windycitymediagroup.com/theateropenings.html and ongoing shows www.windycitymediagroup.com/theatershowings.html . Look for the **** for special GLBTQ interest. |
