||ALMA, Latino/a leaders and groups honor David Munar

ALMA and other Latino/a organizations hosted an event to congratulate and celebrate the hiring of David Ernesto Munar as the first Latino gay President and CEO of Howard Brown Health Center, making him one of the few Latinos leading a major organization.
Previously, David served as the president and CEO of the AIDS Foundation of Chicago. He is currently a 2014 Chicago Community Trust Experienced Leader Fellow.
Host Committee Members included Mona Noriega, Evette Cardona, Julio Rodriguez, Kenny Ocasio, Rodrigo Carrillo and Sol Flores.
The event took place at Angel's Restaurant on Ashland.
